Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how BillMapper ("we", "us") handles information when you use billmapper.com. Our guiding principle is simple: we collect as little as possible, and the tools themselves collect nothing.
The numbers you enter stay in your browser
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your web browser (client-side). The figures you type — bill names, amounts, frequencies, due dates and reserve balance — are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and never shared.
The tools save your bill list (names, amounts, frequencies and due dates), chosen currency and year, funding start month and reserve balance in your browser's local storage so you can pick up where you left off. That data lives only on your own device; we cannot see, access or recover it. You can delete it at any time with the tool's Clear button, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Analytics
No analytics service is currently enabled. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the new collection begins.
Advertising and cookies
Advertising is currently disabled, so the site does not load advertising scripts or advertising cookies. If advertising is enabled later, third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies, and this policy and any required consent flow will be updated first.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising ataboutads.info/choices.
- Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), personalised ads and advertising cookies may only be served after you consent through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP). We will not run personalised advertising in those regions until that consent flow is in place.
Affiliate links
Affiliate links are currently disabled. If they are enabled later, they will be disclosed on the relevant pages and in the Ad & Affiliate Disclosure before use.
Website delivery
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and secure the site. This is separate from the figures you enter in a calculator. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of that information. Emails you choose to send are processed by the email services delivering them.
Contacting us
If you email us via the address on our Contact page, we use your message only to reply to you. We don't add you to any marketing list.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use the ad opt-out links above, and use the site without providing any personal information. We do not provide user accounts or store your calculator inputs on our server; anything a tool saves locally on your device can be removed with its Clear button or via your browser's site-data settings.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site grows (for example, when advertising is switched on). We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
